1. Bag a Bargain Shopping in Orlando
There are plenty of amazing places where you can go and shop in Orlando. Orlando shopping brings the shopping experience to another level. You can enjoy going to visit malls like the Florida Mall, The Mall at Millenia or Disney Springs.
These malls are not just shops, you will also find everything you need to have a great night out. Try The Edison in Disney Springs for eating and listening to music.
When I’m in Florida, I always visit an outlet mall. This is the best place to save money on everything, especially clothes. You will be able to find your favourite brand at discount prices.
To save even more money, I advise you to register with the mall before your visit and download the reduction coupons booklet beforehand. You will have even more discounted prices with this additional reduction!
Another tip for the outlet is to go early morning to avoid the crowds. These outlets can be very busy in the afternoons.
If you prefer to be outside, why not visit the Winter Garden Village (The Grove)? All the shops are outside which provides a different feel to your shopping experience.
2. Get Close to Nature at a Wildlife Park
Orlando is a great place to see wildlife and discover different species, like the gator or sloth. Two of the best places to experience wildlife in Orlando are Wild Florida and Gatorland.
In both parks, you will have the opportunity to see animal shows. Gatorland specialises more in gators, and it is smaller than Wild Florida.
Wild Florida is bigger and offers air boat rides which are fun to do. Travelling on an air boat is a unique experience but you also have the chance of doing this activity on another day (check out number 3).
Wild Florida and Gatorland are two difference experiences, but you may have time do both during your vacation. See below for the best prices.

As mentioned above, an air boat ride is a great experience. This special boat was built to navigate shallow water. It is a flat-bottomed boat with an aircraft propeller. This boat is extremely powerful, and all the family will remember the ride.
In addition to experiencing a ride on an air boat, your guide will introduce you to the flora and fauna of the area. You will stop periodically to spot Florida’s state reptile, the American Alligator, in its natural setting. You will also see birds and other wildlife.
It isn’t a zoo, so nothing can be guaranteed but I can tell you that the experience will be worth it.
4. Enjoy an Ice Hockey or Basketball Game
When I travel, I love to experience things from my hometown. We have Ice Hockey and Basketball games where I live but they are not the same as those we can experience in the US.
Whilst you are in Orlando, you can go to see a professional Ice Hockey or Basketball game. You will be able to visit one of the biggest arenas and experience its exciting vibe. You just can’t replicate this atmosphere when you watch games on TV.
